Responsibilities:
-
Reading
and
interpreting
design
blueprints,
programming,
and
troubleshooting
CNC
machine-related
issues
until
the
desired
specifications
are
met.
-
Creating
3D
programming
of
structure
/
component
using
solid
modeling.
-
Determining
the
manufacturing
process
of
new
products
from
the
holding
stage
to
the
finished
product.
-
Evaluating
machining
efficiency
of
completed
designs
to
validate
cost
and
CNC
product
turnaround.
-
Making
improvements
to
set
up
times
for
a
task
and
contouring
of
complex
shapes.
-
Serving
as
an
information
source
on
planning/CNC
scheduling
and
CAD
design
troubleshooting.
Requirements:
-
High
school
diploma
or
GED.
-
Associates
degree
or
specialized
certification
preferred.
-
Previous
CAM
programmer
work
experience,
preferably
2
years
or
more.
-
Ability
to
create
3D
programming
of
a
structure
or
component
using
solid
modeling
without
assistance.
-
Use
of
basic
and
complex
geometric,
algebraic,
and
trigonometric
computations.
-
Regular
use
of
concepts
to
complex/practical
situations,
including
fractions,
ratios,
and
proportions.
-
Proficiency
with
inputting
designs
into
computer
modeling
software
or
any
equivalent
combination
of
experience
and
training
that
provides
required
knowledge,
skills,
and
abilities.
-
Ability
to
work
independently
on
operational
and
technical
challenges
with
minimal
supervision
and
guidance.
-
Excellent
scheduling
and
time
management
skills.
-
Ability
to
concentrate
at
a
computer
screen
for
extended
periods
of
time,
paying
close
attention
to
detail.
-
Willingness
to
work
in
a
project-based
environment
that
sometimes
involves
tight
deadlines,
last
minute
updates
and
changes,
and
balancing
multiple
assignments
at
once.

Specific
vision
abilities

Work
Environment:
A
full-time
position
in
Mansfield,
Ohio.
CAM
programming
engineers
report
to
the
engineering
manager.
Duties
will
be
performed
in
both
our
office
and
on
the
manufacturing
floor,
where
dust
and
noise
will
be
present
and
temperatures
are
maintained
to
a
limited
capacity.

spend
extended
periods
of
time
at
a
computer
and
drawing
desk.
